Canon set to exploit African market potential

Canon Central and North Africa says despite the economic difficulties of 2020, it is set to achieve the market potential that exists in Africa.

The Managing Director of CCNA, Mr. Somesh Adukia, stated this during Canon Central and North Africa’s first virtual partner conference.

Adukia said, “In 2020, there were challenges and difficulties: but at the same time, it ushered in new learnings.

“With the African spirit of resilience, we were able to reboot, restart and reset our batteries, to achieve the market potential that exists for Canon in African markets.”

The yearly partner conference was an opportunity for partners to reconnect and demonstrate a commitment to the region, to help achieve new heights, in a new world.

Wrapping up the conference, 12 partners were acknowledged during an awards and appreciation session, for outstanding achievement across four categories.

The partners, spanning 40 countries, were commended for their determination, dedication and resilience to all the external challenges of a year gripped by the Coronavirus Disease.

According to him, 2020 shifted the company to look at business through a new lens, as it treaded uncharted territories across the globe.

Partners were recognised for adding value to Canon’s business, showing outstanding achievements, increasing market share and bringing the Canon strategy to life.
