Dangote Cement promo: Winners in Lagos, Owerri get alerts

The cities of Lagos, Owerri and Port Harcourt have been agog in the past two days as 14 Dangote Cement customers are credited with N1m each in the ongoing promotion, Bag of Goodies, Season Two.

The atmosphere became frenzy at the prize presentation ceremony held in Lekki Pennsula, Lagos, as nine of the winners got bank credit notifications on the spot, just as the symbolic cheques were presented to them.

Benjamin Ayodele, one of the star winners in Lagos, described the prize as touching, announcing to the gathering that it was the highest amount of money he had ever received in his life. He described the prize as divine because his wife just gave birth few days ago.

He urged other cement consumers to continue patronizing Dangote Cement brand as it is trustworthy and has the interest of all stakeholders at heart.

In Owerri, Imo State, two winners emerged, while a third person went home with a television set.

Speaking to journalists at the ceremony held in Port Harcourt, one of the star winners, Edet Udeme, said that winning N1m in the promo was a dream come true, as he had been using Dangote Cement in his construction projects.

Earlier in his remarks, National Sales Director, Dangote Cement, Adeyemi Fajobi, urged contractors and other professionals in the building sector to insist on the brand.

The promo, he said, is part of the company’s strategies of giving back to its teeming customers for their loyalty.

Marketing Director, Dangote Cement, Funmi Sanni, said, “The importance we attach to consumers informed the concept of Bag of Goodies promo Season Two. The promo is to appreciate you, the consumers. After the Season One, we decided to have season two to continue to reward you, our consumers.

“As an organisation focused on improving the living standard of consumers of her products, Dangote Cement has come out with the promo to ameliorate the impact of COVID-19.”
