Eid el-fitri: FAAN assures passengers of maximum security

As the Muslim world prepares for Eid el-fitri, which marks the end of the Ramadan fasting, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has put in place adequate measures to guarantee the safety of airport users during and after the celebration.

This year’s celebration will begin in the evening of May 12 and end in the evening of May 13.

In a statement on Tuesday, the General Manager, Corporate Affairs of FAAN, Henrietta Yakubu, advised passengers and airport users to abide by laid-down protocols on the Coronavirus Disease while using the airports.

The authority equally noted that recent developments in some parts of the world with respect to COVID-19 required all hands on deck.

“FAAN advises passengers to leave their homes early enough, so as to get to the airport and complete all check-in formalities in good time, to avoid missing of flights,” she said.
