Green Africa appoints Koteshwar as CFO

Kiran Koteshwar will next month resume as the new Group Chief Financial Officer of Green Africa, a Lagos, Nigeria-based value airline.

The industry leader with broad experience in a complex market joins Green Africa’s dedicated leadership as the company moves closer to launch.

Koteshwar has 22 years experience in the aviation industry, with vast knowledge in building and scaling a value airline in a challenging market.

He was recently the CFO at SpiceJet – India’s second largest value airline with over 100 aircraft and instrumental in the successful turn-around of SpiceJet as well as two major funding exercises for the airline.

Prior to SpiceJet, Koteshwar played a key role in launching GoAir, where he held several commercial and financial leadership positions.

Green Africa, which is going through the Air Operator’s Certification process with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, recently placed order for 50 Airbus A220-300s.
