After a long wait, the Nigerian government has released the financial benefits of police officers of Imo State extraction that retired between January and March last year.
A statement on Tuesday by Imo command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Orlando Godson Ikeokwu, urged the affected retirees to go to branch offices of their Pension Fund Administration to access it.
It said: “The Imo State Police Command wishes to inform officers of the Nigeria Police Force who retired between January and March 2019, that their Accrued Right has been released by the Federal Government.
“Affected officers are by this press release advised to visit the nearest branch office of their respective Pension Fund Administrators for signing of their consent forms, please.”
