The management of the Lagos Building Investment Company has announced the appointment of Hakeem Ogunniran, Bolanle Banjo and Adewale Okesola as directors of the bank.
The appointment was announced in a statement by the mortgage bank on Wednesday, following a consideration of the nominees by the Lagos State government, the largest shareholder of the bank.
According to the bank, the Board of Directors also appointed Ogunniran as the new chairman.
“This was in response to the resignation of Arch. Adeshina Soyebo and Mr Abiodun Afinowi as Chairman and Director on 28 and 29 May respectively.
“The new Chairman is a seasoned real estate doyen and founder/CEO, Exima Realty Company. Mr Ogunniran had served as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of UACN Property Development Company Plc.
