Global phone brand, Tecno, has made American movie star, Chris Evans (Captain America), its new brand ambassador.
To expand its reach in the international market, Tecno unveiled the popular actor as the face of new its new product, according to APO Group.
Financial Street gathered that the agreement ‘intensified’ the company’s global strategies to become a leading company in the emerging telecommunications market.
Evans was made the brand image for matching with the motto of the China-based company.
Tecno is one of the phone companies that have embraced the Artificial Intelligence-enhanced mobile photography and videography. For about five years now, the brand has been popular for advanced photographic performance, especially with its Camon series.
The brand has entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the leading mobile phone with the flip book shot.
Tecno has the highest market in Nigeria with a growth of 27.35 per cent in March 2021.
With Evans as ambassador, the brand is set to ‘stand out’ in the global market.
