NPA vows to revive Eto

The Nigerian Ports Authority has vowed to revive the truck call up system codenamed Eto.

Acting Managing Director, Mohammed Bello-Koko, made the pledge during his visit to truck owners and drivers association at Lilypond Terminal in Ijora.

He assured the port users of NPA’s commitment to speedily resolve all teething challenges against the smooth implementation of the electronic call-up system for trucks doing business at the port.

Bello-Koko said the visit was to have a first-hand assessment of the Information Technology physical infrastructure built for the call-up system and domiciled in the terminal.

He also said that the visit was to enable him re-evaluate the performance of Eto, three months after its deployment.

“We want to also engage directly with the service users to appreciate their concerns and those bottlenecks arising from their subscription of the traffic management platform,” he said.
