Licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and powered by technology, the platform, according to Dozie, will be transformational for Nigerians across the globe, as it will be redefining the Nigerian commerce through the combination of financial services and a seamless lifestyle solution.

The tech entrepreneur said during the launch, “We are removing barriers using technology and data, driving inclusion at scale. In doing so, we are empowering Nigerians to fulfil their potential, democratising access to valuable solutions for both business and personal needs.”

Like similar digital banks, Sparkle, which has launched its mobile app on iOS and Android, will enable users to see their daily, weekly and monthly spending patterns. It also comes with an expense tracking and budgeting feature, which allows users to access loans and invest.

The digital bank has partnered with other global brands like Visa, Description

PricewaterhouseCoopers and Microsoft to offer its users quality services.
