“He also established the Digital Entrepreneurship Office for the nurture and expansion of TechNovation and Digital Entrepreneurship. He also  launched the Youth Empowerment and the Creative Economy Council with a view to unlocking the creative potential of the Anambra youth in a manner that will address unemployment more decisively.”

Obiano’s administration was also recognised for ensuring a seamless payment of due allowances to the security agencies. Creating jobs from investments, agriculture, loans and other policies and programmes; launching the Akulue Uno Campaign. This led to new investments like Coscharis Farms, Anaku, Joseph Agro, Lynden farms and Delfarm/Songhai, and Stine Farms as well as the Stanel World and SABMiller Breweries.

He served as Anambra’s governor from March 17, 2014 to March 17, 2022. Prior to his election into office, he worked with two different financial institutions – First Bank of Nigeria and Fidelity Bank.
