Kaduna Customs seizes goods worth N74m

The Federal Operations Unit, Zone B, Kaduna, of the Nigeria Customs Service, has seized different contrabands with Duty Paid Value of N74,338,500 since the beginning of this month.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Public Relations Officer of the command, M.A. Magaji, an Assistant Superintendent of Customs, disclosed that 635 bags of foreign parboiled rice were intercepted from different shops and warehouses within the zone between February 7 and 15.

According to him, the items included 13 vehicles, 232 gallons of PMS, 344 cartons of spaghetti and 183 pieces of used tyres.
