M-Net has launched ‘M-Net Movies Pretty Deadly Pop-up Channel’ for its DStv Premium customers.

The pop-up channel, starring Leading Ladies of Action, will be available on DStv Channel 111 from Friday, March 19, at 9.30 a.m. to Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021, after 11 p.m.

The launch of the channel of the pop-up channel, which boasts of a collection of heroine action movies, coincides with the celebration of women’s contributions throughout history and in contemporary society, as March is proclaimed ‘Women’s History Month’.

According to the South African pay television channel established by Naspers Limited in 1986, the channel will run from late morning to midnight every day. Also, the movies are scheduled according to themes at peak times.

Some of the films include Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, Scarlett Johansson’s Lucy, Zoe Saldana’s Colombiana, and Angelina Jolie’s Salt.

Charlie’s Angels, Colombiana and Anna will be aired on the day of the launch.
