Nigeria’s inflation rate is in the upward swing, rising by 0.07 per cent in February.
Going by the Consumer Price Index, which is the most popular indicator of inflation that measures percentage change in the prices, the year-on-year inflation rate for February increased from 12.13 per cent in January to 12.2 per cent.
The food index also rose by 0.05 per cent in the month under review standing at 14.9 per cent against 14.85 per cent in January.
