The Nigerian Ports Authority says it is expecting 27 ships laden with petroleum products, food items, and other goods between December 24, 2020, and January 1, 2021.
This was disclosed in its publication, ‘Shipping Position.’ The ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos port complex.
According to the NPA, the contents on the ships include bulk sugar, bulk wheat, general cargo, petrol, frozen fish, butane gas, bulk malt, container, automobile gasoline, bulk fertiliser and bulk salt.
The authority noted that 11 other ships had arrived at the ports, waiting to berth with bulk wheat, container, and petrol.
Also, 15 other ships were at the ports discharging general cargo, bulk wheat, petrol, frozen fish, automobile gasoline, jet fuel, and container, it added.
